Education councilor of Kazakhstan embassy in China visited Xi’an Shiyou University

On the afternoon of 30^th, May, Education councilor of Kazakhstan embassy in China, Chief Representative of Representative office of International Plan Center of Ministry of Kazakhstan Education Science and Director of Kazakhstan Integration Foundation Office in Xi’an visited Xi’an Shiyou University. Vice president of the university Zeng Ping had talks with the guests.

Zeng Ping welcome their visit and pointed out that Kazakhstan was the main source country of overseas students, Xi’an University highly values its cooperation and exchange with educational institutions in Kazakhstan, he hoped their visit could increase the mutual understanding and promote profound cooperation.

Education councilor of Kazakhstan embassy in China indicated that Kazakhstan has rich oil and gas recourses, so petroleum majored talents are in great demand, he appreciated Xi’an Shiyou University for proving talents support in Kazakhstan’s economy construction, hoped the two parties deepen cooperation to cultivate compound talents for two countries.

The Chief Representative introduced about all kinds of Kazakhstan’s International Plan Center of Ministry of Education Science’s scholarship programs, vice president of College of International Education of Xi’an Shiyou University.

After the symposium, the delegation had a meeting with Kazakhstan students in Shaanxi, looked into students life of study abroad, and explained relevant issues during study in China. The education councilor also issued 17 international students studying in Shaanxi certificate of honor for excellent Kazakhstan students studying in China, there were 8 international students of Xi’an Shiyou University obtained the certificates.
